  I spend a lot of time with pair of Great grey owls near the prey location at South Karelia. And all time they really try to catch a mole or mouse. They set at perch for a long time and listening. Sometimes owl Is slowly and silently planning to snow and catch or not catch some prey.

  I started photographing birds about 10 years ago. Once, looking in the park with my husband, we saw two woodpeckers fighting for territory - it was a discovery for us what a variety of birds are hiding in our parks. Since then, it has become interesting for us to find birds, then to observe their behavioral characteristics, then it has become interesting to find an interesting frame, and not just a reportage. Birds are an endless inspiration and a variety of subjects for photos. They know how to give the photographer amazing shots and these shots are new every time.
